The Institute for Local Self Reliance (ILSR) hosted an August 12, 2015 webinar (the state of the art of extended producer responsibility) on extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs and how they are and should be organized and implemented, resulting in what Resource Recycling called a "fierce discussion." ILSR made the entire webinar recording and slides available on YouTube.
Around the same time, EPR experts Usman Valiante and Glenda Gies wrote a succinct article contrasting the differences between shared producer responsibility in Ontario and full producer responsibility in British Columbia and why it matters, in the August issue of Resource Recycling.
